Caramel Cakes

Recipe for Caramel Cakes.
You need;- 100g Butter, 1 egg, 1 cup milk, pinch salt, 1.5 cups plain flour, half tspn vanilla essence, 1 cup sugar, 1 tbspn golden syrup, 1 tspn baking soda, 1 tspn baking powder, 1 tbspn cocoa.
You need to cream the butter & sugar. Add egg & beat well. Melt syrup & milk together and add soda. Add to creamed mixture. Add flour, baking powder & salt. Pour half of mixture into lined tin, or into muffin tin (I used paper cases). Add cocoa & vanilla to remaining mix - pour over top of mixture in tin. Bake 180 degree's celcius for approx 30 mins in large tin, or 20 mins in muffin tin.
Icing;- Melt 2 tbsns butter & 4 tbspns brown sugar together, for 2 mins. Add 1 tbspn milk & bring to boil. Add enough icing sugar to make a spreadable consistency and ice cake(s) when cold. Enjoy! This is one of kids favourites.
